After-School Program
We created George Gervin Prep Academy’s after-school program to provide an elite learning community and recreational opportunities in a safe, caring environment that will prepare our students for future success. We offer this program free of charge to all GGPA students in grades K–8!
Program Goals
The main goal of GGPA's after-school program is to provide a safe and positive environment for the students through the following:
- Enriching and empowering our students—building on their interests and strengths by applauding their achievements
- Planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the after-school program
Program Objectives
- Our students will grow socially, emotionally, and physically by participating in recreational activities with their peers.
- Our students will develop and improve their homework skills to reinforce learning during homework help.
- Our students will grow academically through inquiry-based activities that focus on science, math, language arts, and technology.
- Our students will develop good health and nutrition habits through snack and health supervision.
Operating Hours
Enrollment
Limited seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please complete an application (coming soon) and an emergency card, and turn them in at the front office. Students must attend the program 90% of the time to keep their seat. Drop-in service is not available.
St. Mary's Food Bank will be providing snacks; snack menus will be available.
